Between Yoga Studios, and Becoming a Grandma

Sunshine Family Yoga is no longer offered at any of the Genesis Health Clubs. I have chosen to move my yoga classes to a more family focused location, and to explore other yoga teaching opportunities that will begin in September.

Free Stroller Yoga will be offered until I leave to be with my pregnant daughter, and her hubby (early July).
A couple of moms, Karen and Melody, will stay connected to the group to offer meet up opportunities.

I look forward to announcing the birth of grand baby Soifia, and the details of my new teaching opportunities. Until then.....May you always feel Mother Earth beneath your feet, and a song or story in your heart.

CONGRATS on the blogging! i'm so proud of you :) it makes me feel like i taught you enough to get the main idea because i make a pretty bad teacher.

Stroller Yoga is a unique family yoga and strolling activity, created by Sheryl Haynes. Stroller Yoga supports early childhood families in fostering community, and enjoying the parks and natural resources of the Wichita area. No previous yoga experience needed. We begin with standing yoga, stroll along a path, and end with mat yoga and community time under the shade trees. Families explore songs and yoga poses from the other Sunshine Family Yoga© classes, as well as some fun an fit strolling yoga.

Sunshine Family Yoga Instructor, Sheryl Haynes....

has worked with childbearing families since 1990. She is a wife, mother of four spirited young adults, an early childhood family specialist, and a faithful yogini. She is certified with Helen Garabedian in Baby and Tot Itsy Bitsy Yoga through Spirit into Life, Inc., and as a pre/postnatal yoga instructor through Leslie Lytle of OmMama, LLC. Sheryl draws upon her past experience as a childbirth educator and Doula. She has a creative spirit, and loves sharing the joy of yoga with pregnant and parenting families.
